Great Georgian Masters
We are proud to collaborate with Great Georgian Masters, artisans who not only preserve but also breathe new life into the rich traditions of Georgia. Their dedication and craftsmanship help us bring the beauty of Georgian culture to the world. Without their expertise and passion, we wouldn't be able to share these treasures with you.
reWoven
reWoven strives to revive the ancient craft of rug weaving by creating exquisite rugs while maximizing benefits for its artisans and their community. The company is dedicated to restoring the beauty of traditional rug weaving and inspiring future generations to carry on this legacy.
To achieve this, reWoven produces high-quality rugs that reflect the aesthetics and techniques of centuries past, including hand-spun wool yarn, natural dyes, hand weaving, and historic patterns. Women from their weaving village spin their own undyed white and black wool into yarn, while naturally dyed yarn is sourced from other regions. reWoven has also recovered antique designs from prestigious collections worldwide, bringing these designs back to their place of origin to be rewoven today.
Committed to supporting its weavers, reWoven ensures that all project proceeds stay within the local village. The company aims to establish a direct market for its rugs, offering higher wages to weavers and better value for customers. reWoven believes its weavers are the highest-paid in the Caucasus region and is dedicated to raising wages further as the project grows, ensuring the preservation of this rich weaving tradition.

The business offers two retail locations. One showroom/shop for ceramics and textile, where the public can see and purchase the ceramics is located on Pertiashvili street. Second one is a magnificent gallery/workshop located in Rustaveli theatre in the early 20th century Georgian cultural heritage center “Kimerioni’s” space. The business prides itself on being the first studio to develop and produce the acclaimed Georgian porcelain, winning awards and commissions international for their design, artistry and innovative products.
